- Founded: 1894/95 on the former property of Dr. Gyula Rosenthal (madj. Rózsavölgyi), a Jewish judge from Ofen (from 1897 to 1915 he was Vize-mayor of Ofen-Pest). The German settlers were from Lasarfeld, Sartscha, Setschan, Kleck, Ernsthausen, Großjetscha, Franzfeld, etc.; a very few Slovaks came as well. After World War I, 85 Bohemian-Germans from Wolfsberg, Slatina, Weidental, Sadowa and Lindenfeld arrived.
