I am trying to find information on my Great Great Grandfather, his wife, and my
Great Grandfather.
As near as I know, Henry Neuman was his name. I haven't any information
on his wife, but I believe he had five children. My Great Grandfather
was John, Charles, George, Mary Neuman Dorleman and Louise Neuman Haas.
Grandpa John was born in June of 1858. He came to the USA sometime
before 1877, the year my Grandfather (George Harry Newman) was born. His
death certificate says his mother was a Nora (Knotts) or so I've been told.
They also had a daughter. I believe her name was Mary E. Newman. I have no
idea what happened to her. John remarried a Levera Ann Reed. They had three
children Andrew Eugene, Louise Newman Reppert, and Nora Newman Reppert.
I know that John got his Naturalization papers in 1892, and sometime after
that he changed the spelling of his last name. I have a little information on
John, but would like more and would like information on the others. I have
things on my Grandfather George Newman, but it's the others I would love to
know about. I was only four when my Grandpap died, but I remember him well.
I would be eternally grateful if you have any information I can use. Thank
